Preventive Medicine

To keep pets in good health and prevent diseases we need to take basic precautions all year round, such as a healthy diet, and frequent exercise, but also vaccinations, wormings, prevention of leishmania, oral hygiene and geriatric check-ups.

General Medicine

In face of any sign of illness, you should bring you pet over to the veterinary center for an exploration. If needed, we can perform tests, radiographies, and ultrasound scans in our facilities. With the initial diagnosis, we may prescribe treatments, request specific tests to specialized laboratories, or derive you to a specialist.

Specialized Medicine

In Veterinos we have our own specialists in internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, surgery, ethology, treatment of pain, nutrition, and image diagnostics. You can ask as well for an appointment with our collaborators in the specialties of exotic animals, traumatology, ophthalmology, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and dermatology. We have also on call a reference specialist in cardiology and ecocardiography.

Hospitalization

Veterinos Veterinary Center has a hospitalization room prepared to monitor pets in observation, or needing medical supervision after a surgical procedure. We will take care of your pets as if they were our own.
